The Merck Family's Old World Christmas expands with a new permanent showroom in the World Market Center Las Vegas.

01/29/09 — World Market Center Las Vegas will showcase furniture, decorative accessories, gift, lighting, area rugs, home textiles and related segments. With the opening of building C in July 2008, World Market Center now stands at more than five million square feet of space, exceeding the size of any trade mart in the United States. The opening day of the summer Las Vegas Market began with the ribbon cutting for the inauguration of the World Market Center's third building. Old World Christmas was open for business with their recently completed showroom on the 9th floor. The day concluded with a standing-room-only concert by rock legend Rod Stewart. The organizers of this market are holding true to Las Vegas tradition by sparing no expense to put on a first rate show. Many insiders believe that World Market Center Las Vegas will become the premier gift market for the western United States.
