OSU is one of the four charter members of the Pac-12 Conference. Jimmie the Coyote was the original mascot until he was replaced by the beaver in 1910. The current mascot is Benny the Beaver and he made his first appearance in 1952. Home football games are played in Reser Stadium. The University of Oregon is often seen as the school’s key rival with an annual Civil War Football game between them.
