Oregon State Ornaments
Oregon State University was established in 1856 as the area’s first community school for primary and preparatory education and became Oregon State University on March 6, 1961. OSU is one of the four charter members of the Pac-12 Conference. Jimmie the Coyote was the original mascot until he was replaced by the beaver in 1910. The current mascot is Benny the Beaver and he made his first appearance in 1952. Home football games are played in Reser Stadium. The University of Oregon is often seen as the school’s key rival with an annual Civil War Football game between them. Old World Christmas has a complete line of officially licensed Oregon State University glass Christmas ornaments that is perfect for alumni and fans.
Staff Favorites Part 1
Though it is commonly thought that tiny elves design, paint, and sprinkle glitter on the Old World Christmas ornaments, but there is actually a team of creative, hard-working people behind each one. We’re excited to introduce our team, along with their favorite ornaments, over the next few weeks, and fill you in on what ornament they love and why.
The Power of Personalizing
The variety and uniqueness of Old World Christmas ornaments makes our glittering, blown-glass ornaments the easy choice not only for a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, but all year our ornaments add beautiful touches in unique ways. With over 1500 ornaments, there is a special one for everyone. Personalization, either a DIY version or hiring a professional, adds the finishing touch to a thoughtful gift that commemorates a significant moment.
Decorating A Table for Every Holiday
Creative decorations, thoughtfully planned out, set the mood. There are so many creative touches that add to a festive holiday table. Obviously, Old World Christmas is partial to Christmas—we love a Christmas tree decorated with our blown glass ornaments, but we also love seeing our ornaments decorating spaces and celebrating memorable events throughout the entire year.
