Our Story

Growing Tradition Since 1962

What began as a small roadside produce stand in 1962 has blossomed into one of the Mid-Atlantic’s premier garden centers. Founded by brothers Billy and Punkey Foard, Valley View Farms has remained a family-owned business, now operated by Billy’s son, Andy.

Today, Valley View Farms is a year-round destination offering everything. But when fall arrives, the garden center transforms into a holiday wonderland, complete with beautifully decorated trees, a spectacular outdoor light display, and a beloved Christmas Shop filled with ornaments and gifts from around the world.

For more than 60 years, Valley View Farms has continued to grow while staying true to what started it all: creating a warm, welcoming shopping experience and bringing families back year after year.
