10 Gift-Giving Occasions by Ornament

There is a lot to celebrate. We’ve generated 10 important events that should be remembered and applauded with a Christmas ornament (or two!).

Graduation is an important event in the life of any student—whether they’re graduating from Pre-K or a PhD program. The work and effort the degree represents, as well as the feeling of satisfaction it produces is worthy of a gift. We know any graduate would appreciate remembering this year with an ornament. The year they graduated, a diploma, or the signature cap and tassel will remind them of their hard work for years to come.

Wedding season is upon us, and we think one of the greatest gifts a bride and groom could get in the spring or summer is a collection of wedding-themed ornaments. Unless you get married right around Christmas, no one thinks about the ornaments for the bride and groom’s first Christmas tree as a married couple in June or July. But, of course, we do. In addition to a beautiful assortment of individual wedding-themed ornaments, We have two boxed collection sets perfect for the bride and for the happy couple.

It goes without saying that celebrating a birthday is an important event, but ornaments make great birthday gifts. Old World Christmas will have a special ornament of a hobby or interest that perfectly suits the special birthday person. We also have balloons, cake, a Sweet Sixteen cupcake, and more sweet and candy ornaments for the big day.

Every birthday is important, but welcoming new life on their original day of birth is a special day too. We have an entire selection of ornaments dedicated to the birth of a new baby, as well as a special collection of ornaments in a keepsake box celebrating baby’s first Christmas. We love that many of the baby first Christmas ornaments are created with space so you can design your own personalized ornaments with name or date.

There’s no way around it: pets are part of the family. There’s no better way to welcome a new pet, or remember a pet that has passed, by giving an ornament gift. We have so many animal ornaments because pets are not limited to just cats and dogs, we love celebrating any special animal.

Girl’s Trip

Friendship is a reason to celebrate and give gifts. A much-needed girl’s trip is the perfect reason to give ornaments. Each friend has an interest or hobby, and we’re confident we have an ornament for that, but a special ornament commemorating the place or the weekend is thoughtful too. Ornaments make the perfect gift because they’re not only beautiful, but every Christmas when it goes on the tree the gift of friendship is celebrated all over again.

Fishing Trip

The ladies shouldn’t have all the fun though. Fish swim all year, and when the guys put together a trip to snag them, an ornament celebrating the big catch makes the perfect gift for all the anglers in the group.

Father’s Day

Don’t forget about Dad. He is worth celebrating. We have all the cliché dad ornaments (the BBQ, tools, fish, and a camera) but there are so many more ornaments to explore for dad. He’s not a cliché, so find just the right ornament as the perfect gift for dad.

Road Trip

With summer swiftly approaching many adventurers have big plans for summer road trips. Even though gas is pricey, there is much to explore close to home! A road trip doesn’t have to go across the country to still be fun. Giving a travel-related ornament to each trip participant helps the memories and funny moments live on every year.

College Days

Recent high-school graduates are anticipating quickly approaching college days. We are so proud of our extensive collegiate ornament collection. There is a variety of ornaments related to many of the biggest colleges, and a college ornament is the perfect way to show team spirit and be proud of the college days.

Gift giving is an important part of sharing love and celebrating each other. We believe that giving ornaments is a thoughtful and meaningful gift-giving gesture that serves not only as a great gift, but a special reminder of life’s greatest events year after year.

Do you offer a box set “housewarming” or “new home”, like the bridal box?
