Army Man Toy Ornament

6 reviews

MSRP: $17.99

The Story Behind

This simple plastic and almost indestructible toy has entertained millions of children since 1938. Unlike the more expensive toy soldiers in hobby shops, these soldiers were simplified so that all could afford to create a troop. Relive the hours of play battle as you hang the Army Man Toy ornament.

Measurements: 1 X 2.25 X 3.75 (HxLxW)

Each glass ornament is mouth-blown into finely carved molds

A solution of hot liquid silver is added for exceptional color and vibrance

Ornaments are then hand-painted and hand-glittered for a fine finish

Not for Christmas

Was going to give them to two G I JOE fanatics for Christmas. Upon arriving it dawned on me, “Why would anyone put war momentos on a Christmas tree?” So I returned them.

Awesome!

This ornament was perfect ! Better than I expected. My son who just returned from the Army absolutely loved it. I have bought my children an ornament every year since they were born and this one is definitely in the top five which really says something because I have four children! Great purchase. Thank you!

Old World Christmas

The History of the Iconic Christmas Nutcracker

The history of the nutcracker is a beautiful story of human creativity from function to creativity. Today, the traditional Christmas nutcracker isn’t designed to actually crack a nut, and an entire ballet was created around this non nut-cracking figure. We have an entire category dedicated to nutcracker ornaments.

Keep your ornaments safe this Christmas off-season with smart storage. Focus on creating individual space for each ornament, and store them in smaller storage boxes. Overall, we think our signature Old World Christmas boxes are the best way to store our gorgeous ornaments.
