The Story Behind

Long ago decorations, including ornaments of vegetables were given to young brides from well-wishers. It was believed to bring the bride good luck in the kitchen. The bell pepper decorations were given as a symbol of spice, excitement and cheerfulness. Continue this tradition by gifting the bell pepper ornament to a loved one.

Measurements: 4 X 3.25 X 3.5 (HxLxW)

Each glass ornament is mouth-blown into finely carved molds

A solution of hot liquid silver is added for exceptional color and vibrance

Ornaments are then hand-painted and hand-glittered for a fine finish

Excellent service and quality

Five star review! Ordering from the website was easy. Very quick shipping, and the ornament was packaged beautifully. Bubble wrap within the Old World Box, and then packaged in an exterior box with a "Fragile" sticker. I ordered the red, yellow, and green pepper ornament. I get a few ornaments each year for a special tree dedicated to only the Old World fruit and vegetable ornaments, that is in my kitchen. The tree gets noticed and complimented often, because the ornaments sparkle so beautifully.

The history of the nutcracker is a beautiful story of human creativity from function to creativity. Today, the traditional Christmas nutcracker isn’t designed to actually crack a nut, and an entire ballet was created around this non nut-cracking figure. We have an entire category dedicated to nutcracker ornaments.
