Another Wonderful Transaction!

This story started off a little rough and it was my fault as I didn’t inspect the ornament upon arrival. I bought this for Christmas 2021 for my pregnant wife. It was the last gift she opened and sadly it was in pieces. Once businesses reopened after the holiday, I contact Old World and explained my dilemma. I had received the ornament a few weeks prior. They sent out a replacement immediately with expedited shipping, no questions asked. Most companies in this day and age might try to worm out of replacing an item that wasn’t found to be damaged upon delivery. I can imagine the “sorry, sir, but you’ve had this item for weeks and it can’t be determine when it was damaged.” But not Old World. I legitimately received it, stashed it and wrapped it but it was damaged. And they came through like a champ.

The History of the Iconic Christmas Nutcracker

The History of the Iconic Christmas Nutcracker

The history of the nutcracker is a beautiful story of human creativity from function to creativity. Today, the traditional Christmas nutcracker isn’t designed to actually crack a nut, and an entire ballet was created around this non nut-cracking figure. We have an entire category dedicated to nutcracker ornaments.
