Guinea Pig Ornament

25 reviews

MSRP: $21.99

The Story Behind

A Guinea Pig is neither from Guinea nor a pig. The pig part of their name is found in German and Russian translations. Years ago, as people set sail for the New World, they gathered provisions including little sea pigs. Today, Guinea Pigs are kept as pets.

Measurements: 2.25 X 2.5 X 3.5 (HxLxW)

Each glass ornament is mouth-blown into finely carved molds

A solution of hot liquid silver is added for exceptional color and vibrance

Ornaments are then hand-painted and hand-glittered for a fine finish

What a wonderful gift

This was given to someone who has adopted a guinea pig from a shelter recently and the look on her face was priceless.

Great ornaments!

Have purchased a number of ornaments from Old World Christmas over the years. They always come packed safely and are always excellent, including the Guinea Pig.

Beautiful ornament

The ornament came in a timely manner packaged well. It is a beautiful ornament and i believe my wife will absolutely love it as it represents the many guinea pigs we have had over the years. Old World Christmas was easy to order from. Great experience!

Nicely done

I have to say, the ornament does capture the general 'derp' look, patchwork colors and potato physique of guinea pigs! Nicely done ornament, well packaged, and arrived in perfect condition. My son (the guinea pig parent) will love it.

Keep your ornaments safe this Christmas off-season with smart storage. Focus on creating individual space for each ornament, and store them in smaller storage boxes. Overall, we think our signature Old World Christmas boxes are the best way to store our gorgeous ornaments.
