The Story Behind

High-top Sneakers were developed in the early s as athletic shoes and became the preferred basketball shoe. Later as the shoes were worn by music and movie stars, their popularity soared. Now available in a huge variety of colors and styles, the High-top Sneaker has become an American classic.

Measurements: 4.5 X 4.75 X 1.5 (HxLxW)

Each glass ornament is mouth-blown into finely carved molds

A solution of hot liquid silver is added for exceptional color and vibrance

Ornaments are then hand-painted and hand-glittered for a fine finish

Rising star

Needed to find a ornament for one of our grandsons for our annual Thanksgiving Christmas ornament gift. He's super athletic and just made his HS basketball team. Being a Louisville Cardinal fan the black and red sneaker but seemed perfect.
