Indigo Bunting Ornament

MSRP: $13.99

Birds are symbols of happiness and joy, so they are regarded as a necessity on the Christmas tree. Glassblowers often kept wild birds during the winter months since the sound of the gas flame in the workshop prompted the birds to sing. Then when spring arrived, the birds returned to freedom.

Beautiful bunting

This ornament was a gift for my sister, the quality and colors are gorgeous. She has a artificial birch tree which she has decorated with birds by her fireplace. She was so excited to receive the indigo blue bunting one of her favorite birds. I absolutely love your selection of bird ornaments and I’m considering having a similar tree in my home decorated with your bird ornaments so happy I found your website

Old World Christmas

Hi Rosey- We are so glad you found us too! I love the idea of a bird tree near the fireplace, sounds so lovely. The Indigo Bunting is a beautiful ornament perfect for such a tree.

Lovely! Sparkling blue birdie

Absolutely beautiful on my traditional tree. Rich blue tones and charming birdy shape. Reminds me of my grossmutter's cherished ornaments from Hamburg that they carried in baskets on the ship when they came to the New World.

Hi- What high praise and precious memories, thank you for your kind words. The Indigo Bunting is quite spectacular on the tree with its vibrant shade of blue.

A Ginger Cottages Christmas Adventure

Visions of sugar plums danced in my head as I nestled back into my cozy seat, and in a flash the train was off. Reflecting on my trip while munching on the second pretzel I was amazed with my unexpected trip wondering how I’d describe my trip. If only I had a memento. I carefully unwrapped my early Christmas present from the hands of the man himself to discover delightful replicas of each place I visited. Knowing I’d set it up each Christmas, as a magical visual of an incredible trip, I was thankful for the story to go with it.

Celebrate a Tropical Christmas with a Tropical Tree

The closer to the equator, the less fir trees there are, and the harder they are to get. But, a tropical tree is a great alternative for those who live with a snow-less climate, those who are looking for something different, or for those who travel to a balmy destination for Christmas. Here are a few great alternatives for a tropical Christmas (whether there’s snow on the ground or not!).
