The Story Behind

The earliest microscopes were called flea glasses as they were originally used to study small bugs. The first microscope was invented by Hans and Zacharius Jansen in the 1600s and has gone through numerous improvements over the centuries. Today, we can see an entire universe of minute organisms, thanks to this ingenious device.

Amazing detail

I use a microscope every day, so when I ordered the ornament, I couldn't see every detail. When I received it, it's amazing, right down to the different color objectives. Love it!

My Scientist LOVED IT!

I gave the microscope to my favorite son-in-law (ok, he’s my only son-in-law), for Christmas. He’s a Scientist and he loved it! I’m very particular. That said; I thought the painting on the microscope was excellent.
