Pina Colada Ornament
The Story BehindStrained pineapple is a sweet concoction of rum, coconut cream/milk and pineapple juice, served in a hurricane glass, garnished with a pineapple wedge & maraschino cherry. Robert Cofresi, Puerto Rican pirate gave this drink to his crew, to boost their morale. Today it s the national drink of Puerto Rico, and is celebrated annually on July 10th.
Each glass ornament is mouth-blown into finely carved molds
A solution of hot liquid silver is added for exceptional color and vibrance
Ornaments are then hand-painted and hand-glittered for a fine finish
I have bought these drink ornaments for bar tree that my daughter has. They are so cute on the tree. Well made!
