The Story Behind
For centuries all clothing was laboriously made by hand using a needle and thread. Developed in 1790, then patented in 1846, the Sewing Machine promised relief from countless hours of hand labor. The Sewing Machine was named the "Queen of Inventions" in 1860, and has been in use ever since.
Each glass ornament is mouth-blown into finely carved molds

A solution of hot liquid silver is added for exceptional color and vibrance

Ornaments are then hand-painted and hand-glittered for a fine finish

A great gift!
My friend totally enjoyed the ornament. It lead to an interesting conversation on old sewing machines. It was a great choice!

Sewing machine ornament
This was a Christmas gift for my sister. She actually has a sewing machine that looks exactly like this from our grandmother. She absolutely loves it! So pretty and shiny!

Beautiful. This ornament makes me so happy.
This sewing machine ornament is almost an exact replica of my 1950's era Pfaff 130, which I've sewed on my entire life, and belonged to my mother before me. Seeing it hanging on my tree makes me so happy. It's sparkly and pretty, arrived excellently packed and in a timely fashion. Thank you!
