Stingray Ornament

The Story Behind

Stingrays are related to sharks and are common in temperate seas around the world. Their unique flat body allows them to conceal themselves in the sand. They swim by undulating their bodies or flapping their sides like wings. Stingrays are usually shy and docile, but will "sting" when stepped on in shallow water.

Perfection

This is a beautiful and unique ornament. I purchased it as a gift and it was well-received. It’s a perfect representation of a stingray.

Scuba diving on your tree

I do not have to go scuba diving in order to experience the magical creatures of the sea. Old World Christmas has magically brought it to life on my Christmas tree. I love all of my sea themed ornaments from Old World Christmas. Thank you for re- creating my memories of the Sea.

one of a kind!

I bought two to commemorate an unbelievable family experience in Hawaii in April 2022. While we didn't swim with stingrays, just mantas, it was close enough, and unique.

Memories

This was a memory for my granddaughter but it brings back memories of the beauty and danger of a stingray! She stepped on one but she’s probably stronger for it! And this happened in the last couple of months! Last year it was hermit crabs and this year stingray! There will always be memories!

Replaced Item

In an earlier review I stated that the item I received had a broken tail. It was a small break. I didn't plan on replacing it since it was still cute. Old World Christmas took it upon themselves to replace it without me even requesting it. They apparently have awesome customer service. All the ornaments I ordered from them are cute and I can't wait for Christmas.
