The Story Behind

The red avadavat is commonly known as a strawberry finch. This bird is the size of a sparrow and can be found in the open fields and grasslands of tropical Asia. Males are often caged because of their incredibly colorful plumage during breeding season. Spotting, photographing and observing such an incredible bird is an achievement!

Just beautiful!!

I have so many of these bird clip ornaments! They are ALL JUST BEAUTIFUL!!! I have 2 twinkling pine trees and 2 twinkling twig trees in my home. These realistic gorgeous glass birds are all over the trees and they just glisten and shine! I do have a small issue with a couple wanting to take a nose dive. I just have to be extra careful when attaching them to a branch. The branch has to be thick enough for the clip to get a good hold. 99% of the birds I don’t have a problem with, but there are a couple that want to be difficult, but I’ve managed to get them adjusted, and they truly are perfect! This red strawberry finch is especially beautiful, cute and has such personality!! He sits perfectly attached to a branch on one of my twinkling pine trees! I had already purchased one of these before so I knew it would be a great addition!! 1 of the strawberry finches is on my twinkling twig tree and now this one is on my twinkling pine tree. These are all QUALITY and so well made!! I almost have ALL of the bird clip ornaments on my trees! I hope I can attach pics to show just how beautiful this one is, as well as all my others. I honestly can’t pick a fave, but this has to be in my top 5! Some of my other faves are the barn swallow, the shiny red bird, the chickadee, nathutch, Baltimore oriole, the red-winged black bird, the purple Martin…..the baby bluebird is just as darling and cute as a button! Oh…..they are ALL just so very beautiful! Thanks to Old World Christmas for giving me such beauty to look at in my home! My bird twinkling trees (4 foot and 5 foot) stay out year round and they TRULY make me so happy!!! I hope THIS COMPANY will bring many more variety of the bird clip ornaments!!

In search of ..

I like the photo of finch. Says I received it. Have been in search of box for many weeks and cannot say I ever got it. I'm certain it is not here. I'm fairly certain it is somewhere, tho.
