In the Middle Ages, guests brought sweet buns that were placed in a pile over which the bride and groom kissed. The taller the pile, the more prosperous the couple. This evolved into the tiered cake we know today. This Wedding Cake ornament serves as a keepsake of the special day or anniversary.

Wedding cake ornament

This is a beautiful ornament that I am giving to friends getting married in August. I'll also add another gift, but thought this one was so pretty, I couldn't pass it up. In years past, when the bride-to-be was little, I gave her and her sister ornaments for many years. The ornament arrived quickly and in perfect shape. Was very well wrapped and packaged in a solid box. Very pleased.
