Top Christmas Gifts for the Coffee Drinker

Coffee is an every-day must for many, and you know us, we’re always planning ahead to Christmas. Because Christmas is the greatest holiday ever, we wanted to help out today with an idea-generating list of fabulous Christmas gifts for the coffee lover. Of course, we have Christmas ornaments for everything, and large collection of coffee-related ornaments, so we’ll show you which ornament to pair with each gift.

Chemex Pour Over

For those who prefer an upgrade from regular-grade drip, the Chemex pour-over, glass coffee maker is beautiful to look at, and makes a beautiful cup of coffee. A coffee connoisseur believes the slower process creating a cup of coffee brings out the flavors, richness and texture of the final result. With the Chemex, the water filters through the grounds slower, so more flavor is extracted. The strength of the coffee can be controlled with the Chemex too. Plus, it’s beautiful to look at, the shapely glass carafe is easy to handle with the solid wood ring around the middle. We’d like to pair the coffee pot ornament with the Chemex because it’s at the opposite end of the coffee sophistication spectrum.

Bialetti Moka Express

The closest thing to an Italian cappuccino, without traveling to Italy, is made in the Bialetti Moka Express. This modern-but-old-fashioned looking stove-top coffee machine makes strong, espresso-like coffee in less than 10 minutes. The Moka is more affordable than most traditional espresso makers yet with essentially the same result. Top off the Moka coffee with some creamy, frothy milk, and voila, it’s a cappuccino. Which is why we’d like to pair the Moka with our cappuccino ornament.

Bodum French Press

Coffee lovers enjoy the rich, delicious taste of coffee from a French press. Without a filter, the coffee retains more of the coffee-bean oils, giving a richer, deeper flavor to the coffee. Ground beans are placed at the bottom of the beaker, and boiling water is poured over the coffee. The lid is placed on the beaker, and when the coffee has brewed to the coffee lover’s preference, the plunger is slowly pushed to the bottom, trapping the coffee grounds to the bottom, leaving the dark, rich coffee. Like the Chemex, a French press makes a beautiful gift. The delicate glass beaker gives the user an up-close view of the brewing black liquid. French presses come in various sizes, and tend to be very affordable. Obviously, we would pair the gift of a French press with our French press ornament.

Coffee Subscription

Our final Christmas gift idea for the dedicated coffee lover—who might have all the best coffee accessories—is a coffee subscription. There are simply too many coffees in the world to try them all, but a coffee subscription would allow the coffee drinker to try new flavors and new beans from many different countries or areas. So many coffee roasters and distributers are socially aware, and feature fair-trade coffee from earth-conscious companies using sustainable methods. A quick Google search will uncover something new, do some research to find a coffee or company with a good, unique story. And of course, don’t forget to pair this Christmas gift idea with our bag of coffee beans ornament.

Coffee, and everything that goes with it, always makes a great Christmas gift, because there’s always something new to discover about coffee. Whatever you give your favorite coffee lover this Christmas, make sure you include one of our gorgeous coffee-themed ornaments to go with it.
