What to Get a Guy for Christmas

Who’s the guy? With this list it won’t really matter. Though we’ve done gift lists for boyfriend, husband and dad, this list covers all the guys. The gifts on this list don’t fit into just one category since no man fits into just one either. And, since we’re Christmas-ornament obsessed, of course we’re including our favorites to go along with these ideas. A Christmas gift just isn’t complete without one, and we have a million (almost).

Beer & Cocktail Guy

We’ll dive right into Christmas gifts for the guy who is a connoisseur of drinks. Whether he’s already into it or needs to expand his horizons beyond Bud Lite, here are a few products he might appreciate. The first is a subscription to a craft beer club. He can try new beers from breweries across the country without having to leave his chair. He’ll need a nice cold glass to pour a new beer into, so why not get him self-cooling pint glasses? But don’t stop at just pint glasses. He might need a whole set of glasses to pour the proper brew in the proper glass. We love this glass set from another idea-inspiring site, Man Crates. To store these new additions a snappy, space-saving is BottleLoft for the fridge. If he’s graduated from beer to whiskey, there are many cool types of specialty, customizable glasses and accessories to go with the drink. Old World Christmas has lots of drink ornaments. Here are a few of our favorites: a cold pint, a six pack and a bottle of whiskey.

Techie Guy

Chances are he’s got it all, but is he set up to charge his Apple gadgets in a neat and tidy way? He will be with this 3-in-1 charging station. Amazon Echo is on its 4th generation, and your guy might need to upgrade to the latest model. If he does he can control so many home features like outlets, lightbulbs, smart speakers and light switches. You can upgrade his life in one Christmas. Maybe he just needs to kick back in his smart home and unwind with a small heated neck and back massager while listening to music on his tiny noise-cancelling ear buds. We think the headphones and smartphone ornaments sum up the techie guy perfectly.

Game & Movie Guy

He might be interested in gadgets only as they’re related to games and movies. We think this cool mini projector would upgrade his movie-watching game. He can scratch off each movie he watches from his new top-100 movie poster. His goal can be to complete the list before next Christmas. A Star Wars fan might like a Death Star ice cube in his drink while watching his favorite movie. There are a few wild and fun games he might like added to his collection, or a more interactive and easy-to-set-up and safer-than-darts ring toss game. For the ultimate gift (if you can find one) the brand-new PlayStation 5 would make all gaming dreams come true for the guy in your life. If he truly would rather be playing than visiting, this shirt might be his perfect attire. We have a few timely ornaments for the game and movie guy. A video-game controller or dominoes ornament are perfect for the game guy and the movie guy is represented well by the director’s board ornament.

Learner Guy

For the guy who loves to learn we have a couple ideas. There are so many businesses that have tutorials and online classes, and one of the best is Masterclass. He might be interested in new hobbies or skills and the sky’s the limit with a subscription to online classes from Udemy. Gift your guy a year-long subscription and let him learn a variety of subjects from the best in class. Maybe he’s more of a reader than a watcher. A book-of-the-month subscription might be exciting, and it’s a gift that keeps on giving all year long. Pair that with a scratch-off poster of 100 of the best books. Learning can be a daily habit with a word-of-the-day tear-off calendar. Nothing describes a learner more than a big stack of books and Old World Christmas has just the one for the guy who loves to learn.

Don’t let gifts for guys intimidate you. There are a lot of interesting and thoughtful gifts perfect for all the men in your life. Dig a little and get creative, but don’t wait, Christmas is right around the corner!
