Grandfather Clock Ornament

3 reviews

MSRP: $21.99

The Story Behind

The Grandfather Clock stands regally in the hall counting off the minutes and hours every day. It is prominently featured in nursery rhymes and fairy tales alike. In Dickens A Christmas Carol, Scrooge listens for his clock to chime and announce the arrival of his ghostly visitors.

Measurements: 1 X 1.5 X 5.5 (HxLxW)

Each glass ornament is mouth-blown into finely carved molds

A solution of hot liquid silver is added for exceptional color and vibrance

Ornaments are then hand-painted and hand-glittered for a fine finish

Grandfather clock

I bought this for a friend who I gave my grandfather clock to during Covid. It needed work to run. He was very successful in getting it running and he and his wife love it. I will give them the ornament for their Christmas tree.

Stunning!

The grandfather clock is gorgeous! The colors, the detail, like all Old World Christmas ornaments, a true work of art.

Keep your ornaments safe this Christmas off-season with smart storage. Focus on creating individual space for each ornament, and store them in smaller storage boxes. Overall, we think our signature Old World Christmas boxes are the best way to store our gorgeous ornaments.
